Good $ense Learning Opportunity
Managing your personal finances is a top source of stress in
your daily life. As Christians, we are called to apply godly stewardship
principles to the money management choices we make. But where to start? How
much should your monthly mortgage payment be? How much should be set aside as
an offering to my church? Should you keep your current credit cards or apply
for new ones with better rates?
While the Bible does not offer specific answers to many
questions about personal finance, it does provide principles for effective
money management that can transform the way you think about money, and in turn,
transform your life! "Good Sense" is a new learning opportunity that
teaches these principles.
The "Good Sense" workbook accompanies the six video sessions
and provides additional exercises to help participants apply what they have
learned. It can be obtained through Concordia Publishing House by calling 1-800-325-3040 or sending an e-mail to order@cph.org, referencing Synod stock #S22000.. On the
LCMS Web site, there are additional free resources available to help you get
started at http://www.lcms.org/pages/internal.asp?NavID=9946.
"Good Sense" is an excellent resource produced by experts outside of the LCMS.
